Leveraging FHIR for ONC Free Webinar

Register: The ONC released a final rule earlier this year to enable all provisions of the 21st Century Cures Act, as applicable to its ONC 2015 Edition EHR Certification Program, including significant technology changes. The final rule seeks changes around FHIR implementation, EHI export requirements and information blocking provisions. Complying with these changes, especially around interoperability and FHIR, presents complex clinical, operational, and financial challenges to healthcare providers and health IT vendors. Health IT vendors will need to have HL7 FHIR API, USCDI datasets and other 21st Century Cures requirements rolled out in the immediate future, to be eligible for ONC’s Cures Certification Program. In this webinar, experts discuss the changes, impact of the final rule and next steps for health IT vendors and EHRs to comply with interoperability and other mandates and why FHIR’s value goes beyond this certification. Key Learning Outcomes: • 21st Century Cures Act and its derived final rules from CMS and ONC• Impact of the ONC Final Rule on health IT vendors • Changes in the implementation timelines and details of the Cures Certification Program • Value of FHIR beyond the ONC Certification • Technology enablers and accelerators to drive interoperability / FHIR compliance PresentersDr. Viet Nguyen, HL7 Board Member, Technical Director of the Da Vinci Project & Founder of StratametricsSwanand Prabhutendolkar, Sr. Vice President & Proficiency Business Lead at CitiusTech Sponsored by:CitiusTech Inc.https://www.citiustech.comNote: participant emails will be shared with sponsor
